The Salesperson works with professionalism and consistency to successfully achieve sales goals and project manage jobs generated from personal sales.

Reporting Relationship

The salesperson reports to the manager/franchisee as applicable.

Duties and Relationships

  1. Follows standardized pre-consultation process from the time an appointment is set with a prospect until arriving at appointment.
  2. Follows a standardized consultation process when meeting with prospects to determine their needs, timing and budget.
  3. Qualifies each prospect’s wants and needs into a plan of sales actions.
  4. Shows Prospects samples and photos of completed projects similar to what they are trying to achieve.
  5. Assembles a quote and related information to present to the customer with the goal of creating a sale.
  6. Revises quotes or drawings as customers’ wants and needs are assessed.
  7. Reports to Owner or designated sales manager to discuss the circumstances of the consultation in order to secure same day/next day sale.
  8. Performs job site measuring and gathers the information necessary to create a cabinet layout, which meets the customer’s needs.
  9. Photographs the remodeling jobs that are being measured to provide visual layouts for ordering materials and “before” photographs for sales album.
  10. Maintains inventory of job-related products and samples in order to provide a presentation to the customer.
  11. Collects payments when necessary from customers according to payment schedule defined by contract.
  12. Communicates necessary information to KTU Design Services to enable them to complete a "scope of work" order using designated forms and photos.
  13. Reviews the purchase order requisition to verify scope of work element accuracy with the Administrative Assistant.
  14. Initiates and processes any job change orders.
  15. Meets the installer prior to installation to inspect and cover all necessary details, preferably at the job site.
  16. Continues customer contact during the job to monitor all related activities.
  17. Keeps records of each sales appointment with summary of consultation outcome and follow-up guidelines.
  18. Develops a timeline for "No-Sale" prospects to follow up and monitor the progress of their decision making process
  19. Creates outside leads and sales other than those generated by the Company's marketing system.
  20. Assists in operating booths at Home-Show Displays to set appointments for sales consultations.
