Kitchen Tune-Up Boise is seeking a Cabinet Specialist to join our team offering kitchen remodeling and cabinetry updates across Boise and the surrounding communities. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand with homeowners. We offer wood restoration, cabinet painting, cabinet redooring, cabinet refacing and new custom cabinets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Arrive to shop or jobsite on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
• Follow instructions given by project manager
• Follow Trustpoints on every job
• Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
• Able to keep track of tools and keep your job van/trailer organzied
• Communicate with project manager daily about progress
• Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed)
• Restore wood cabinets in the home
• Paint cabinet doors and boxes
• Redoor and reface cabinets
• Install new custom cabinets

Skills:

• Stellar work ethic
• Able to follow directions without deviating
• Must be able to match colors (cannot be color blind)
• Able to drill for hinges
• Use of saws, power tools, paint sprayers, etc.
• Able to install doors and drawer fronts
• Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets
• Willing to learn and be trainable

Additional Skills (preferred but not required)

• Prior experience in cabinet refacing
• Prior experience in cutting moldings
• Able to install crown molding
• Prior experience in painting cabinets
• Prior experience in cabinet resurfacing
• Prior experience in wood restoration
