As Kitchen Tune-Up Connecticut continues to grow we are seeking an carpenter’s assistant/ Jr. Installer to work with the lead installer in our client’s home to execute the transformation of their Kitchen or Bathroom. It is not just about what you do but also how you do it, the Kitchen Tune-Up® Jr. Installer works with professionalism and consistency to successfully achieve the stated goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Arrive to jobsite on time in appropriate work clothing.
Follow instructions given by lead installer
Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
Do basic carpentry skills (i.e.: measure, drill holes, hang doors, etc.)
Work quickly and efficiently (clients do not want us in their home any longer than needed)

Skills:

Must be able to install tile, backsplash and general carpentry skills
Stellar work ethic and can-do attitude
Able to follow directions without deviating
Detail oriented
Able to safely operate power hand tools
Must be able to match colors (cannot be color blind)
Must be able to interact with customers in a honest and professional manner
Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets

Additional Skills (not required)

Prior experience in cabinet refacing
Prior experience in cutting and installing moldings
