We're Expanding!  Our showroom will be launched February 2022 in upscale Brookdale Neighborhood and we've just expanded into additional territories within Northern New Jersey. We've had our best year yet and now need some amazing folks to come on board and win with us. 

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking in-home specialty remodeling professionals for the role of Kitchen Design Sales Consultant. Our unique custom products and services are in strong demand. We're hands down the best at what we do and have the track record to prove it. 

Don't worry about lead generation, we provide appointments for you. A new team member can expect to run 5 to 8 appointments per week from our provided qualified leads. Your consultative efforts are solidly backed by a local business with an excellent reputation, and a national franchise system in business for over three decades.

If you are willing to make a commitment to learn our products and processes, are friendly and personable; you will be a success. Our work is consistent year around, no worry about seasonality.

This is a commission role with attractive tickets and closing rates. Eligibility for benefits after 90 days. Commission upside potential is unlimited and uncapped! High performers can expect earning potential of $150,000 or more.  

Job Duties:
  • Conduct the Kitchen Tune-Up sales process (training is provided).
  • Conduct scheduled "in-home" consultations, making presentations to homeowners.
  • Confident to ask for the order, persistent in sales follow up, strong desire to win and succeed.
  • Assembles a quote and related information to present to the customer with the goal of creating a sale.
  • Revises quotes or drawings as customer needs are assessed.
  • Collaborates and communicates with franchise owner to ensure a complete cabinet order.
  • Meets the installer at the job prior to installation to inspect and cover necessary details.
  • Continues customer contact during the project and monitors all related activities.
  • Cooperatively market your skills as an industry professional.
  • Computer and smartphone proficient.
  • Convert all available sales leads into scheduled sales appointments.
  • Convert as many sales appointments as possible into sales (a minimum of 30% is expected)
  • Willing to develop account based business, such as interior designers, contractors, builders, and real estate firms
Job Requirements:
  • Highly motivated, dependable, with strong work ethic
  • Attend KTU weekly sales coaching call (min 3 per month).
  • Optimistic, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor suitable to working in our client’s homes
  • Speak clearly using appropriate language and vocabulary
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Participate in home/trade shows
  • Able to work days, some evenings and some weekend appointments
  • Must have reliable transportation
