Full Time • Hybrid - US
The Salesperson works with professionalism and consistency to successfully achieve sales goals. The area of sales visits ranges from Clinton on the west, Westfield to the east, Morristown to the north and Somerville to the south. This is a commission-based sales position with the potential to earn beyond $100K
Reporting Relationship
The salesperson reports to the manager/franchisee as applicable.
Duties and Relationships
  1. Reviews generated leads and initiates contact with potential clients.
  2. Maintain leads by attempting to contact them by email, phone and text
  3. Creates outside leads and sales other than those generated by the Idea Center and Design Studio’s advertising.
  4. Qualifies each prospect’s wants and needs into a plan of sales actions.
  5. Gathers information on all job-related products in order to provide a presentation to the customer.
  6. Conducts in-home sales appointments and shows products to potential clients.
  7. Assembles on-the-spot kitchen remodeling proposals and presents to the client with the goal of creating a sale.
  8. Upon acceptance of proposal, performs job site measuring and gathers the information necessary to create a cabinet layout, countertop take-off, and backsplash take-off which meets the customer’s needs.
  9. Photographs the remodeling jobs that are being measured to provide “before” photographs for the showroom album.
  10. Revises quotes or drawings as customers’ wants and needs are assessed.
  11. Collects payments from customers.
  12. Communicates necessary information to KTU Design Services to enable them to complete a cabinet order. Or, if KTU Design Services is not used complete and place the order himself.
  13. Initiates any job change orders.
  14. Meets the installer at the job prior to installation to inspect and cover all necessary details.
  15. Continues customer contact during the job and monitor all related activities.
  16. Processes all credit card payments from the customer.
