Kitchen Tune-Up Tampa Central is seeking a Cabinet Specialist (Installer / Trim Carpenter) to join our team offering kitchen remodeling and cabinetry updates across Tampa and the surrounding communities. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand with homeowners. We offer wood restoration, cabinet painting, cabinet redooring, cabinet refacing and new custom cabinets.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Consistently arrive on time in logo’d shirt and appropriate work clothing.
- Work independently or with a team.
- Follow instructions given by project manager/leader
- Face each day with a growth mindset: taking responsibility successes and failures, while remaining coachable.
- Follow Trustpoints on every job and with every interaction.
- Install products in a safe, high quality, productive and profitable fashion in our customer's homes.
- Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
- Communicate with project manager daily about progress
- Work quickly and efficiently
- Positively problem-solve to manage and correct unplanned problems on the job
- Perform simple cabinet modifications
- Perform door, panel, drawer and hardware installations
- Perform cabinet storage solution installations
- Measure, cut and install veneer and moldings (ISC, OSC, toekick, baseboards, casings, etc)
- Able to work in Tampa, FL. and surrounding communities
Skills:
- Stellar work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions without deviating
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong personal organization skills
- Able to drill for hinges
- Able to install doors and drawer fronts
- Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets
- Able to safely operate power hand tools including; a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
- Able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
- Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
Additional Skills (preferred but not required). Training is provided.
- Prior experience in cabinet refacing
- Prior experience in cutting moldings
- Able to install crown molding
- Able to install backsplash tile
Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
