Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Handyman to perform a variety of residential maintenance, repair, and home improvement tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, drywall repairs, and other handyman services. This position requires someone who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and provide excellent customer service while completing multiple service calls and projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform general home maintenance and repair tasks, including painting, drywall repairs, caulking, and basic carpentry work.
Address minor plumbing and electrical issues, including faucet replacements, toilet repairs, light fixtures, and other basic repairs as permitted by applicable regulations.
Install and repair interior doors, trim, baseboards, molding, shelving, and household fixtures.
Perform minor flooring repairs and installations, including luxury vinyl plank (LVP/LVT) and tile.
Complete minor deck, fence, and exterior home repairs.
Conduct inspections to identify maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Perform small demolition projects, general property maintenance, and miscellaneous home improvement tasks.
Work independently to complete assigned service calls and projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Collaborate with other team members on larger projects and occasionally assist with basic remodeling tasks such as demolition, painting, and job-site preparation.
Respond to customer maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while protecting customers' homes and belongings.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including materials used and before-and-after photos when required.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding project progress, additional repairs, and material needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of professional handyman, residential maintenance, or home repair experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of general maintenance processes, repair techniques, and methods.
Experience in multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and general home repairs.
Ability to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete multiple service calls per day.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift materials, and safely work on ladders.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
Tile, LVP/LVT flooring, and finish carpentry experience a plus.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively when interacting with customers.
Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle record check.
