POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Remodeling Field Supervisor oversees all aspects of remodeling projects on-site, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standards of quality and within the designated timelines. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing project schedules, and maintaining effective communication with clients and project managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Oversight: Supervise remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budget.

Team Management: Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors and on-site staff, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and safely.

Quality Control: Inspect work regularly to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.

Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, including coordinating the delivery of materials and scheduling inspections.

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the remodeling process to minimize delays and disruptions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and site conditions.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and best practices, conducting regular safety inspections.

Budget Management: Monitor project costs and assist in managing expenses to stay within budgetary constraints.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or remodeling, with a proven track record of successful project management.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in construction management is a plus.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software and basic computer applications.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks related to construction work, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Background checks will be performed before an offer will be made.

Compensation: $58,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
