Position Overview

At Kitchen Tune-Up, we believe in a better way to do business. We're actively challenging the status quo in the remodeling industry and are looking for a key team member who is ready to help us deliver an unparalleled and revolutionary customer experience. This is a unique 90-day temp-to-hire position with a clear path to becoming a full-time Project Manager.

We are seeking a Lead Installer who is as passionate about exceptional craftsmanship as they are about customer satisfaction. You might not have extensive project management experience, but you have a strong foundation in remodeling and a natural aptitude for leadership and problem-solving. What You'll Do
  • Lead Installation: You will serve as the lead installer for our 5 core services, working with other team members and subcontractors to ensure all installations are completed to our high standards.
  • On-Site Coordination: As you grow, you will take on more responsibility for managing the day-to-day work on-site, including preparing for installations, managing material deliveries, and coordinating with subcontractors.
  • Customer Communication: You will become a key point of contact for our customers, providing clear and proactive updates on project timelines and progress.
  • Quality Control: You will be responsible for ensuring every detail is perfect, from installation to the final project punch list.
  • Learn and Grow: You will be mentored directly by the business owner, learning the ins and outs of project management, from creating schedules and managing budgets to streamlining operations.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and a foundation of skills to build upon.
  • Craftsmanship: Experience with carpentry, cabinet installation, or general remodeling. You must be skilled with power tools and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: A friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills. You must be comfortable interacting with customers, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to think on your feet, adapt to challenges, and find solutions with a positive attitude.
  • A Desire to Grow: You are not looking for just a job; you want a rewarding career with a clear path for advancement.
  • Reliability: You are dependable and take ownership of your work.
  • Tech Proficiency: You must be comfortable using technology to manage and track projects. A strong aptitude for learning new applications is key, as you will use various platforms for project management, ordering, and client communication.
Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
