Responsibilities:
- Create and present kitchen designs to customers
- Provide excellent customer service and sales support
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Stay updated on latest kitchen design trends and products
- Greets and meets with showroom walk-in prospects as shared floor coverage requires.
- Generate own leads by attending networking events.
- Qualifies each prospect’s wants and needs into a plan of sales actions.
- Performs job site measuring and gathers the information necessary to create a cabinet layout, which meets the customer’s needs.
- Photographs the remodeling projects that are being measured to provide “before” photographs for the showroom album.
- Gathers information on all job-related products to provide a presentation to the customer.
- Prepares cabinet drawings using Sketch Up or other design software.
- Creates a proposal and related information to present to the customer with the goal of creating a sale.
- Revises quotes or drawings as customers’ wants and needs are assessed.
- Collects payments from clients.
- Communicates necessary information to the project manager to enable them to complete a cabinet order.
- Completion and follow-up of product orders for cabinetry, remodeling materials, kitchen accessories, and more to ensure we meet our clients timelines.
- Continues customer contact during the project and monitors all related activities.
- Prior experience in kitchen design and sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of kitchen remodeling products and materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly motivated, dependable, with strong work ethic
- Optimistic, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude
