Lead Finish Carpenter / Lead Cabinet Installer
$35–$49/hr | Full-Time | Brooklyn, NY
This is a LEAD role — not an entry or helper position

Who this role is for
You are:
- A senior carpenter with strong cabinet and finish-work experience
- Comfortable leading jobs, not just assisting
- Skilled with miters, scribing, fillers, panels, crown, and trim
- Trusted to make on-site decisions without hand-holding
- Professional with homeowners and respectful of occupied homes
Core Responsibilities
- Lead full kitchen cabinet installations (new cabinets + refacing projects)
- Execute high-level finish carpentry:
- Mitered trim & molding
- Crown molding
- Scribing to walls/ceilings
- Custom fillers, panels, and modifications
- Read plans, elevations, and take precise measurements
- Problem-solve real-world site conditions (out-of-square walls, uneven floors)
- Direct and mentor installers/helpers
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and project managers
- Maintain a clean, professional job site
- Inspect work for accuracy and craftsmanship before sign-off
Required Experience (non-negotiable)
- Minimum 3-5+ years of cabinet installation / finish carpentry experience
- Proven experience leading installations or crews
- Strong woodworking fundamentals
- Ability to work independently and manage a full install day
- Experience working in occupied residential homes
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own professional-grade hand tools (specialty tools provided)
