Position Overview

The Kitchen Designer and Business Development Specialist play key roles in the growth and success of our company.

This position is responsible for guiding homeowners through the design and selection process while also helping develop new relationships, referral opportunities, and lead-generation initiatives throughout the community.

The ideal candidate possesses strong design instincts, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to contribute to the business's growth.

This role requires a balance of creativity, professionalism, organization, and business development initiative.

Primary Responsibilities

Kitchen Design & Client Experience

  • Meet with sales to understand project goals, lifestyle needs, and design preferences
  • Create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen designs
  • Accurately verify field measurements and project details
  • Prepare design presentations and project recommendations
  • Guide homeowners through the design and decision-making process
  • Ensure a positive client experience from initial consultation through project handoff
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and records
Business Development & Community Outreach

  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, real estate professionals, builders, designers, and community organizations
  • Attend networking events, community functions, home shows, and local business events
  • Identify opportunities to generate qualified leads and expand market presence
  • Build strategic partnerships that support long-term company growth
  • Actively represent the company within the local community
  • Participate in business development initiatives and growth strategies
Social Media & Brand Support

  • Assist with capturing photos and videos while in public at local events
  • Create and share engaging content that showcases completed projects, company culture, and customer success stories
  • Support social media efforts that increase brand awareness and community engagement
  • Help promote company events, partnerships, and local involvement
  • Contribute ideas for strengthening the company's online presence
Lead Management 

  • Maintain timely communication with prospective clients that you cultivate
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities generated by you to ensure sales have it on their schedule
  • Track activities and client interactions within company systems
